Balodyana ‘Prathibhaanveshana’ Interschool Competition 2022
On 19th December 2022, Balodyana Prathibhaanveshana Interschool competition was held in the school premises of Sri Viveka Balodyana Public School. Sri.K S Murugesh, an eminent resource person for PU Board and CET, Lecturer in Department of Physics, currently working in Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala and an active member of Physics Forum, Mysore, was the Chief Guest of the day. The Secretary, Sri M S Nagesh, The administrative officer Smt. Bhavani Nagesh, the Principal Prathibha Ashok, staff, judges and student volunteers were present in the inaugural programme.
About 300+ students from 85 reputed schools across Mysore participated in various competitions. Colouring, Drawing, Best out of waste, Poster making, Working Model making, Debate in Kannada and English, … was conducted by the teacher coordinators of SVBPS.
The judges included well known Art directors, Graphic designers, Scientists, subject experts and professional motivators.
The chief Guest was quite impressed about the event and appreciated the school management for hosting such a wonderful and meaningful event. He also emphasized on students being competent rather than to focus on scoring marks. He also gave tips on mastering skills of education. The presidential address was delivered by the Secretary of the institution, Sri M S Nagesh.
A cultural programme was also presented by the staff and students of SVBPS The prizes were announced by the respective judges.The winners were honoured with Cash Prize of Rs 1500 for first place, Rs 1000 for second place, Rs 750 for third place and Rs 500 for consolation prize along with the mementos and the certificate of appreciation, at the Valedictory function. The treasurer of Sriviveka Balodyana Public School, Sri H S Shivashankar graced the occasion along with the dignitaries. The parents of participants shared their views and mentioned that they experienced positive vibes in our premises and appreciated the way they were treated by the institution. The programme was concluded with Shanthimantra followed by Lunch.
